New Teacher Breakfast
FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County Schools welcomed teachers to the district on August 5th, 2010 at their "Annual New Teacher Breakfast" held at Mainland High School. The enthusiastic new educators were welcomed by FUTURES President Rosaria Upchurch, Superintendent Dr. Margaret Smith, Volusia County School Board Chairperson Candace Lankford, and Teacher of the Year Kristi Kuches of Heritage Middle School.
The event was sponsored by Daytona Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce, Keiser University and Kennedy Space Center Federal Credit Union.
