Teacher Classroom Grants

Since 1985, our Teacher Classroom Grant Program has funded over $2.5 million into more than 5,000 grants for classroom teachers throughout the years. Classroom Grants fund the costs associated with student supplies and curriculum materials providing a multitude of activities, including both remedial and enrichment programs.

To apply for a Classroom Grant for the 2026-27 year: 

• read the info sheet here!
• draft your grant application here! (teachers can request up to $1,000!)
• then register & apply here: https://apply.futuresvolusia.org/ - to open July 1st

DEADLINE: September 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

What won’t be funded?

This list is not comprehensive, and the committee reserves the right to make adjustments. Grant funding is not to be used for:

• t-shirts or other swag branded items
• awards, certificates, gift cards, vouchers
• incentives or other treat style gifts for students
• food, unless used for an educational purpose (contact for more information)
• travel or mileage reimbursement
• furniture or classroom décor, unless used for an educational purpose (contact for more information)
• stipends/salaries or staff development
• Computer hardware such as Nooks, Kindles, iPads, laptops, desktops, and regular printers
• Web-based programs, software, and subscriptions.
