What will the Teacher Resource Store (TRS) offer?

FUTURES surveyed veteran teachers and determined the top 10 most requested items including: white copy paper, dry erase markers, permanent markers, pre-sharpened pencils, erasers, pens, highlighters, crayons/colored pencils, glue sticks and pocket folders.

These core items will be available every time the store is open. The TRS will also have some other specialty items that will vary depending on the time of year and the items available.

Who can shop at the TRS?

At this time, only Volusia County Public School teachers can register to shop.

Can I shop more than one time?

Each teacher will be limited to one shop during each shopping event.

How many items do I get?

Each teacher can request up to 10 items. However, 1 item could be multiple things! For example, each order of crayons will include 2 boxes of 24-pack crayons.

Why can’t I get full classroom sets of items?

The TRS is to provide supplies that supplement your classroom needs. With its current resources, FUTURES is not able to fully furnish classroom supplies for all teachers. As the TRS expands and obtains new resources, FUTURES will extend its offerings!

How do I get my items?/How long will they take to arrive?

Student & FUTURES board member volunteers will package orders in the order in which they are received. They will be shipped from the Facilities Services building via interoffice mail and delivered directly to your school. FUTURES will work quickly to package orders and have them shipped.
