FUTURES Recognizes 78 middle & high school students as Turn Around recipients
FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County Schools is proud to announce its 2020 Turn Around student recipients. Each spring, FUTURES invites all middle and high school principals and their school teams to select a recipient from each grade level per school who has shown a dramatic improvement in grades, behavior, attitude and/or citizenship.
Each student was mailed a congratulatory letter and personalized certificate signed by Superintendent Dr. Scott Fritz and School Board Chairman Ida D. Wright. Turn Around recipients’ names have been engraved on their school’s FUTURES Turn Around plaque which will be proudly displayed at their schools. Dr. Michelle Carter-Scott and the Embassy of Hope joined FUTURES in sponsoring this year’s program to honor these 78 students.
